TGOB Special – An Interview with Seamus O’Hara from Carlow Brewing Company

During the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, Seamus O’Hara, the founder of the Carlow Brewing Company in Carlow, Ireland was visiting the United States and Philadelphia in particular. He is at the forefront of the craft brewing movement in Ireland, which is still relatively young. We sat down with him at The Irish Pub to talk to him about his operations, the craft beer scene in Ireland, the current state of beer in his country and what he hopes to see happen over the next several years. Many many thanks to Seamus for sitting down with us – go grab an O’Hara’s Irish Red or dry stout and enjoy the interview!

Thanks for this episode! I found Carlow Brewing Co beers when I was in Ireland for the summer and drank a lot of them. They make some great beers, and I am glad to see they are sending some over to the US.
