Episode 124 – Saxo Belgian Ale

From the Brasserie Caracole – almost literally “The Snail Brewery” – this Belgian Strong Pale Ale, labeled a Belgian Blonde, packs a 8% wallop. Despite that, it turns out to be very crisp, light tasting, and almost pilsner-esque. A good showing by the Caracole Brewery from Belgium.

A pilsner tasting beer that's 8% ABV – that sounds dangerous. Glad I found this blog – I live out in Conshy and we have Capones out in Norristown, which has a fantastic craft beer selection. I'll have to get to National Mechanics though. Looks awesome

Nice – we have friends out there but I (Dave) haven't heard of Capones. I'll have to look it up. Let us know what you think of the Saxo. :)

Capones is a godsend – one of the owners is a huge beer fan so puts a lot of effort into it. They have a lot events too. I'm hoping they have the saxo.
