Episode 106 – Sunner Kolsch

From Cologne (Koln), Germany, the Sunner Kolsch by Gebr Sunner, the Sunner Kolsch is a traditional, German Kolsch style beer. Founded in the 1830s, it’s the oldest family-run brewery in Cologne. This Kolsch uses Hallertau hops for a unique, earthy, bread-like flavor. We loved this Kolsch.

Um, not sure what you meant about the twiiter thing, but there are a couple of Kolsch beers out there – the one most popular around us is the Philadelphia Brewing Company's Kensinger.

Glad to see you were enjoying them in an appropriate glass. The are many Kolsch breweries in Cologne, each with a different profile and history. All are enjoyable, and I can't wait to brew one myself.

I've had some fun recently enjoying Kolsch in the real place (and other beers in other places as well): http://www.aleiens.com/profiles/blogs/koelsch-i

Very awesome! We sometimes have limited glassware, but we do try to come close :)
