Episode 089 – Nakhon Premium Beer

Supposedly from Thailand, but unfortunately an “Export Only” beer, the San Miguel company in Sakhon, Nakhon puts out a traditional American Style Adjunct Lager, as is supposed to come from just about every massive multi-national beverage conglomerate. Not only is this beer basically a lie – it’s not available in Thailand, so it shouldn’t be called a Thai beer – but it also resembles beer-colored, sour water. The ratings reflect the quality of this beer, for sure.

    Better get a back up beer for those stinkers from Asia. We will find some weird ones that will be good for their uniquety but most are gonna be asian bud wiper.

    We still try 6 beers a week, we just reduced the show format to a single beer at a time. So 5 shows represents 1 week. Our queue represents about 3 weeks of post time, which we like to have in the queue for weeks where we can’t shoot for some reason.

    We’re not trying to become a show factory – after a year and a half of doing this, we’ve just got some preferred ways of doing things on our end :)

    That's great to know – that it is actually making an appearance in Asia. Los Angeles is where the single importer of Nakhon Premium Beer is located… So I guess that makes sense.
