This episode is filled with all kinds of goodies from the far corners of the beer world. We tried everything at this event and left with gleeful grins, worthy of those who know good beer. We look forward to more beer inspired outings put on by Ryan Starr and the crew at World Cafe Live!

And if this was not enough, check back on Thursday for the sit down interview with had with Ryan Starr, Manager of World Cafe Live, and the events coordinator.

You guys rock! Very excited to see TGOB back on track. Exciting stuff in the works, I’m sure.

Excellent episode guys. Diggin’ the manly beard DM. Looks like Philly has got a pretty bumpin’ music scene, must come check it out sometime.

so, maybe it is just me, but every time i go to world cafe live for a show or whatever, the draft beer tastes like plastic… this has been true for me over a couple years now, and i think it’s crazy that it hasn’t been fixed / addressed yet. is it the lines? whatever it is, it’s an embarrassment to an establishment that obviously cares a lot about beer, you know? can you ask that guy ryan starr what’s up with this… thanks…

Rauchbeir from Bamberg. Welcome to the big time. You guys need to look for the Schlenkerla, the original Bamberg smoked beer. Twice as strong as the Speci’. Drink it with some roast pork its the best. After drinking the Rauch 3 times you get hooked. The first time always surprises everyone.

@Jesse you rock too! Although I think I tell you that once a week at least.

@Erik thanks for the props! The production value all goes to Johnny’s brother Vince. The beard had to go (I knew the wife didn’t like it, although she suffered it silently) and yeah, World Cafe Live! is awesome for the music scene in general.

@Bobby we’ll give the Schlenkeria a try (if we can find it in stupid laws PA). Roast pork sounds perfect. The Rauch, by the way, had me hooked the first time. Some people are just slower ;)

Two Guys…..Thanks for the awesome episode. Your presence on camera is only getting better. Mine…….lets just say, ah notsogood. To Bobby, thanks for the suggestion, we actually did have the Schlenkerla it just didn’t make the final cut. We got it from Shangy’s who were awesome in providing a vast array of beers from Germany. It might still be available if you hurry! To Yanni, we are working on it. Next time you are in, let me know, we’ll talk. We are doing a winter seasonal party in january and selling only 100 tickets so watch our website. Also keep an eye out for our february 28th event, tickets will be on sale soon!
