@jeff, originally wheat beers were brewed with only gruit.  Since then, hops have been added in various quantities by various brewers, but the gruit is (if you think of it as a separate ingredient group) still in there, mostly.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not sure Witbier is a Gruit. Yes it has spices (mostly Coriander and Bitter Orange Peels), but it is usually bittered with a noble hop like Hallertauer. I believe a gruit contains no hops at all.</description>
