Episode - 13 A Fever for the Flavor!

After two weeks of moderate lack of flavor on the show, we return full blast into cascades of taste and all around awesomness!! We start out with the very popular Arrogant Bastard Ale from the fine brewmasters at Stone Brewing Company out in Escondido, California. Then it is on to one of our favorite Belgian Style ales, La Fin Du Monde, a classic Triple Fermented Golden Ale which does not come from Belgium but from Unibroue Brewery in Chambly, Québec. Last but certainly not least is the wonderful Delirium Nocternum, the delightful Belgian Strong Ale from the storied kettles of Brouwerij Huyghe, in Melle, Belgium!

These brews knocked our socks off and we know they will do the same for you! Now go and enjoy these fine speci-mines!

Wow, I didn’t expect to see three of my favorites on one show. Now if only Stone would distribute to GA so I could get some Bastard on a regular basis.

Unibroue is an amazing brewery. La Fin, Maudite, Trois Pistoles, Don de Dieu etc all great Belgian style beers.

PIRAAT! http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48/156/?ba=arkhamresident

I’m a huge fan of Belgian Ales (especially Strong Darks), and it’s great to see them getting attention from you guys. I love Arrogant Bastard and have heard great things about Fin Du Monde.

Arkham’s recommendations are spot-on. I was able to try Trois Pistoles on-tap the other night, and it was mighty tasty. However, my favorite Belgian Ale (and one of my favorite beers, period) is Gulden Draak from
Brouwerij Van Steenberge. It can be difficult to find, but with amazing flavors and an ABV of 10.5%, it’s worth the search.

Great job, guys.

First time I watched your show. Totally great. I think I’ll try that Arrogant Bastard Ale - how can it miss with that name.
Keep up the good work.

Great episode guys.

I always enjoy the takes on the different brew. I will definitely have to try the Nocternum.
