never drink beer out of the bottle. you don't release the carbonation in the bottle, which will cause you to get bloated, and i am told that you will get drunker faster, drinking it straight from the bottle. unless your in a hurry to get drunk fast relax pour it in a glass and enjoy. :)

@arkhamresident don't worry, we've all screwed up our beer country-of-origins while tanked :)

But please, suggest away! We want to encourage it across the board, so if you're setting a good example... kick ass!

Just ignore the fact that I said we should buy US beers in the first paragraph and then went on to plug a German beer later. I was a bit shitfaced... :P

I'll probably recommend something every video so feel free to start ignoring me. I'd not expect you to try EVERYTHING I list.

And for a major pass IMHO Lagunitas' Sonoma Farmhouse Saison = poop. It tastes a bit like a Belgian but it's far from being a decent saison. Not worth five bucks for a 22 ounce.

@arkhamresident - Victory Prima Pils will be one of the beers we review in the next couple weeks. I know we can get it pretty easily around here. Plus, we promised to start trying your recommendations :)

Victory Prima Pils! Wonderful summer beer and you can be comforted that your hard earned cash is going back into our wonderful (and somewhat slouching) economy!

I personally don't much care for Stella but my tongue and your tongue are two separate entities.

And on a separate note Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen is bloody wonderful. Smoky, nice malt sweetness and quite refreshing on a hot and humid Georgia day.

Stella is terrific. Crisp, refreshing. Great for our pool parties. Definitely one of the top five summer beers in my book.

i'll be interested in hearing your take on NA's. I've never tried them...not really planning on it either, but interested none-the-less.
